Charlotte Grand Prix Finals Day 2

Hi everyone here we are again after the night session of finals day two in Charlotte Grand Prix. And we have to say it was a night full of emotions where we could see Ryan Lochte and Conor Dwyer racing and giving us some heart attacks and making us nervous every time we saw them taking the pool. Here you have the best of our favorite swimmers.  

The most awaited event to us was 200 LC Meter Freestyle where we could see our favorite two race against each other and Oh my God! It was such amazing race, so cardiac! We were dying of nervous but at the end Ryan and Conor got good results.

Ryan Lochte finished 6th with a time of 1:49.81 so much better than in the morning session (1:50.76). In some moments, we tought Ryan would win because he was leading the race at the beginning next to Ricky Berens (who finished 4th), but we are so happy with his final result.

It’s worth to mention that we are also so happy because we could see him wearing his famous pink speedo, the one that made us love pink haha! And we think everybody in the public enjoyed the pink speedo too!

Conor Dwyer didn’t dissapoint us, he finished in second place with a time of 1:49.29 and we couln’t be more proud of him. He gave us an amazing race, specially in the last meters because he was leading the race in some moments.

We are still excited for this race and it will be very difficult to overcome it. But we’re sure Conor and Ryan will give us some other great moments in the upcoming days in this Grand Prix.

After that amazing race,  Ryan was back in the pool, this time for the 100 LC Meter butterfly B finals and it’s was such an amazing moment, Ryan did a geat job in the pool making the crowd going crazy about the race and of course we were so excited as well. Of course Ryan was the winner of the B finals with a time of 54.02. He did an amazing job in the pool, so Congratulations Ryan!! And as we already wrote, he always make us love the pink haha.

Finally we could see our dear Conor Dwyer back in the pool for the 400 LC Meter IM, and what an amazing race, Conor leaded the competition from the very first time of it. He did an amazing job and as we told you this morning this is not an easy race for any swimmer so we are so proud of him. Of course he was the winner with a time of 4:24.52. Huge congratulations Conor you were AMAZING!!!!

So this is all for today, a great day full of great races and glorious tiny speedos. Thank God Conor Dwyer is now part of the Speedo family because he can show us a great variety of them.

Don’t miss tomorrow’s morning session of prelims at 9 ET, we’re sure tomorrow will be a great Day as well.

Charlotte Grand Prix Preliminares Día 2

Hola otra vez chic@s, aquí estamos nuevamente con un fin de semana lleno de natación y por supuesto lleno de nuestros nadadores favoritos Ryan Lochte y Conor Dwyer en el Grand Prix de Charlotte, en esta ocasión el encuentro durará cuatro días, de jueves a domingo, así que este es el segundo día de competencias y al igual que en cada Grand Prix les tendremos lo mejor de Conor y Ryan. Así es que si se perdieron la sesión matutina de competencias o simplemente quieren recordar lo mejor de ellas continúen leyendo. 

El cuarto evento del Grand Prix de Charlotte y el primero para nuestros favoritos, Conor y Ryan, fueron los 200 metros estilo libre. Tenemos que aceptar que fue un gran evento y que personalmente disfrutamos ver a ese par haciendo lo que más les gusta hacer que es nadar, y además en el mismo evento.

Ryan Lochte finalizó en sexto lugar con un tiempo de 1:50.76, mejorando su tiempo del Grand Prix de Mesa (1:50.99). Estamos muy contentas de que Ryan haya regresado a entrenar y además de que ese entrenamiento esté funcionando. Y tal vez en los próximos eventos podamos ver a un Ryan más rápido, como hace unos meses. 

Estamos seguras que saben quién es Ryan, pero si no aquí les va una pista, es el que viste un speedo azul y naranja!

Una gran sorpresa, al menos para nosotras fue ver a Conor Dwyer finalizar en segundo lugar, con un tiempo de 1:40.33, sin duda una gran actuación por parte de él. Además tenemos que comentar que estamos muy felices por él porque, como ya lo saben, Conor es ahora el nuevo miembro de la familia Speedo (el pasado miércoles se anunció que acaba de firmar un contrato con Speedo, nosotras lo supimos desde el pasado Grand Prix de Mesa, donde Conor lo comentó en una entrevista, así que sólo esperábamos a que se Speedo diera la gran noticia). Estamos orgullosas de todo lo que ha logrado Conor y estamos seguras que muchas cosas buenas están por venir para él.

El Segundo evento de esta mañana en el que pudimos ver competir a Ryan fueron los 100 metros mariposa y definitivamente Ryan dió lo mejor de sí, pero todos sabemos que los 100 metros mariposa no son exactamente su mejor prueba, así es que, considerando lo anterior, podemos decir que Ryan hizo un gran trabajo en la piscina esta mañana terminando en noveno lugar con un tiempo de 54.76. Pero no se preocupen chicas aún lo podremos ver esta tarde en las finales B y sin importar lo que pase estaremos apoyándolo  como siempre.
Por cierto chicas solo para que estén muy bien informadas, esta mañana Ryan usó su ya famoso tiny speedo azul con naranja y por supuesto se veía súper bien jajaja.

Uno de los últimos eventos de la sesión matutina en el Grand Prix de Charlotte fueron los 400 metros IM y estábamos muy emocionadas por ver este evento porque por supuesto Conor Dwyer estuvo compitiendo. Quizás algunos de ustedes sabrán que esta es una de las pruebas más difíciles o muy probablemente la prueba más difícil en natación y sin duda alguna Conor hizo un excelente trabajo en la piscina terminando en 11vo lugar y estamos muy orgullosas de él y por supuesto lo estaremos apoyando esta tarde en las finales B.

Bueno, eso fue todo por esta mañana en el Grand Prix de Charlotte. Estamos muy emocionadas por ver las finales de esta tarde/noche, sobre todo nos emociona ver la final de los 200 metros libres porque veremos a Ryan y Conor competir en ella. Así que no se pierdan las finales a las 5 pm hora del centro de México.

P.D. En nuestra opinión personal Speedo no pudo encontrar un mejor atleta para patrocinar porque ésta mañana Conor lució extraordinariamente bien con el tiny speedo que llevaba puesto. Y una vez más Felicidades Conor!!! Estamos muy ansiosas y emocionadas por ver tu campaña a lado de Speedo. 

Están de acuerdo en que Conor se ve súper bien en esos diminutos speedos? jaja

Charlotte Grand Prix Preliminaries Day 2

Hi guys, here we go again with a full swim weekend and of course full of our favorite swimmers Ryan Lochte and Conor Dwyer in Charlotte Grand Prix, this time the meet will last from Thursday to Sunday. So this is the second day of competition and just like every Grand Prix we will bring you the best of Conor and Ryan. If you miss the morning session or just want to relive the best of his races, just keep reading.

The fourth event of the Charlotte Grand Prix and the first one for our favorite two, Ryan and Conor,  was Men 200 LC Meter Freestyle. We have to say it was such an amazing event and we personally enjoyed seeing Ryan and Conor taking the pool and racing in the same event.

Ryan Lochte finished sixth with a time of 1:50.76 improving his time of the Mesa Grand Prix (1:50.99). So glad Ryan is back on his training because it's working. And maybe in the following events we will see a faster Ryan.

A big surprised at least to us was Conor Dwyer who finished in second place with a time of 1:50.33. We are so happy for him, because he’s improving his swimming and also because as you already know, he is the newest member of the Speedo Family (last wednesday was announced that he signed with Speedo, we already knew it because Conor commented it in an interview in the past Grand Prix in Mesa so we were just waiting for the big announcement). We are so proud of him for all those achievements and we’re sure lots of good things are coming for Conor.

The second event this morning where we could see Ryan racing were the 100 LC Meter Butterfly and he definitely did his best but we all know that’s not exactly his best stroke so considering that, he was great in the pool and he almost made it this morning finishing as 9^th with a time of 54.76 but don’t worry girls we’ll still see him tonight on B finals and no matter what we’ll be cheering him on finals.

By the way just to let you all know Ryan was wearing his famous blue and orange tiny speedo and of course he looked absolutely gorgeous haha.

One of the last events of the morning session were the 400 LC Meter IM and here we were so excited because our dear Conor Dwyer was competing. You might know this is one of the toughest or very probably the toughest stroke in swimming and Conor did an amazing job in the pool giving his best finishing as 11^th and we are so proud of him of course we’ll be supporting him tonight on B finals.

Well that was the first preliminary session for the Charlotte Grand Prix. We can’t wait to see finals tonight, specially the 200 m Freestyle because Conor and Ryan will be competing in it. So don’t miss finals, set for tonight at 6 ET.

P.S. In our personal opinion Speedo couldn’t find a better athlete than Conor Dwyer because this morning he looked AMAZING!!!! Rockin’ that tiny speedo. And one more time Congratulations Conor!!! we can’t wait to see your campaign next to speedo.
