2013 Austin Grand Prix Preliminaries Day 2
Day two at Texas Aquatic Center and our boys were there taking the pool again. But before that Missy Franklin swam on Women 200 LC Meter Freestyle and lead heat two with a time of 2:00.48, and of course she is on finals tonight.
After that was time to see our favorite swimmers at Men 200 LC Meter Freestyle where we could see Conor Dwyer swimming on lane 4 heading his heat with 1:51.95. Then was Ryan Lochte the winner of his heat with 1:52.47; and we'll see both at finals tonight racing next to Ricky Berens. Congratulations to all of them!!!!
With no surprises one of our favorites: Missy Franklin leads her heat throwing to finals with an amazing time (2:10.66) in Women 200 LC Meter Backstroke. Great Job Missy!!!
On Men 200 LC Meter Backstroke, the Olympics medalist Matt Grevers (2:06.81) and Tyler Clary (2:06.89) qualify as A finalist.
The last event of the morning was Men 50 LC Meter Freestyle and we could see Jimmy Feigen (22.30), Matt Grevers (22.70) and Nathan Adrian (22.83) leading the competition.
Definitely this morning was full of emotion and we are sure tonight will be even better, so don't miss Austin Grand Prix finals set for tonight at 6CT at Texas Swim Center.
