Ryan Lochte’s
Best friends
Hi everyone, here we are
again with the blog of the week but first of all hope you're having a great
week even though is almost over. As you could see in the title this time we are
talking about Ryan Lochte's best friends so down below you will find 4 guys
that we have noticed are very very close friends with our favorite swimmer Ryan
Lochte. Ryan is such a cool and friendly guy and we are pretty sure he has many
friends that love and support him but through these years we have seen he has a
special friendship with the guys included in this blog. If you want to know who
they are just keep reading and hope you enjoy it so much. And now let's get
started.
The first one is more than
Ryan's best friend they are literally bros and yes!!! We are definitely talking
about the one and only Devon Lochte. These guys have a very special
brother-friendship and we have witnessed this more than once.
Ryan is the oldest
brother so he really takes care about his brother it really seems he's a good
adviser with Devon but they can also party together and well they were
roommates before Ryan moved out from Gainesville to Charlotte so we guess this
can tell a lot about their friend-brothership.
Of course Ryan has told the
press and basically everybody that he loves his brother and of course that he
is like his best friend. A curious fact about these two guys is that when Devon
started swimming for the University of Florida a couple of years ago they both
had the dream to be part of the same relay representing their country in an
Olympic Games and actually it would have been great to see them make their
dream come true don't you think? Unfortunately Devon stopped swimming and now
he has expressed his interest on becoming a swim coach but we would have loved
to see the Lochte bros swimming as a part of the same relay.
And we don't know if we ever gonna be able to see Devon and Ryan swimming on
the same relay but we definitely have seen Ryan and Cullen Jones swimming
together several times and he's exactly another Ryan's best friends and this is
well known for many fans.
Ryan and Cullen have been best friends for a very
long time, basically they started their swimming careers together, they have
shared relays, parties, birthdays and now they even share swimming club.
Ryan
himself once answer to us via twitter that his best friend on the US team was
Cullen Jones he has called him his brother from another mother and this is so
awesome they both are great swimmers, they both love children and definitely
they have many things in common so it's perfectly understandable that they are
best friends.
Ryan told that Cullen had a very important influence on him
taking the decision to join Swim Mac Club, Cullen was moving to this club too
so that was the perfect chance to train together for the first time as part of
the same club with the coach Dave Marsh in Charlotte. And this is not all they
even live in the same condo!! So definitely Cullen not just advice Ryan he also
helped him to feel in home when he arrived to Charlotte organizing a welcome
party for his best friend.
And what can we tell you about it, we love CLOCHTE
this is a very awesome friendship and judging by some pics and videos that we
have seen on their Instagram accounts they are having so much fun training
together so hopefully we'll see them racing one more time on the same relay and
as roommates on Rio 2016 that would be definitely awesome.
Someone who probably
you know because of Ryan’s reality show “What would Ryan Lochte do?”, is Rick
Garcia aka Uncle Rick (yes, the one who ate 50 wings in one episode).
He lives in
Gainesville so when Ryan used to live there, they spent so much time together,
hanging out at Ryan’s place or partying all night, most of the time in company
of Devon.
Uncle Rick sees Ryan
as a big bro that’s why he has supported him a lot, always believing on him and
being by his side in every moment.
He’s such a loyal
friend and to be honest, we really like Uncle, he seems a nice guy and we loved
the way he promoted the reality all over the social media haha.
On WWRLD you could witness
their amazing friendship, but everything does not finish there, behind what was
shown on TV, they do like spending time together. As one of Ryan’s best friends,
Uncle joined him in Las Vegas last August to celebrate Ryan’s birthday and
judging by all the pictures posted, they had so much fun there.
Uncle Rick also
watched Ryan compete at Worlds in Barcelona, cheering on him and celebrating
every medal, proving that he’s a good friend.
They have been
friends for so long and surely they’ll keep their friendship for many years
more, no matter the distance.
BTW we love their
interactions on twitter and the next one is definitely our favorite haha
Another friend who
you might remember from WWRLD is Gene Gamble, who is not only one of Ryan’s
best friends, he’s also Ryan’s personal assistant.
They have the perfect combination between being friends
and professional partnerships (nothing better than a good friend to be your
assistant, right?)
It seems like they
enjoy so much working together but also doing other activities, like playing
golf, going to the beach or just partying, like normal friends.
This is also a great
friendship, Ryan is really lucky to have best friends like Devon, Cullen, Rick,
Gene but they are also lucky for having a friend like Ryan. Those friendships
are amazing, always supporting each other, having so much fun all the time.
We can continue with
this, because Ryan has so many good friends, but we think these four people are
enough for you to see that Ryan has so much support and love from his friends (well
deserved) and of course, you could see that Ryan is one of the best friends you
could ask for.
He’s so kind and he
always takes care of his loved ones. We’d LOVE to be Ryan’s friends haha.
Well this is all for
today, we hope you liked reading this post. Don’t forget to follow us on
Twitter, like our Facebook page and keep reading this blog. Stay tuned for more
posts on the following weeks.
See you soon!
