Picture Ryan Lochte’s Life
Hi everyone hope you all are having a great week. For
some reason for us this is a very very special week so we wanted to make it
special for you as well. And to make that happen we decided to do a blog that
show you a fast review of Ryan’s life in pictures. We must say it wasn’t that
easy to choose the pics and we had to let some pictures out of this post but
hope you guys enjoy it and have fun watching. We are sure this blog will bring
you back so many good memories because that was exactly what happened to us so
now lets get started.
Early years
Omg! Down below you will find some of the most adorable
pics ever. Seriously Ryan was such a cute boy and teenager and obviously he has
always shown a very special interest on swimming and we are so thankful for it.
College years
As you might know Ryan attended to the University of Florida, actually he
has a major in sports management. But the things never have been easy for him
since he almost wasn’t offered a scholarship at the UF for not being fast
enough. Now it’s clear they were totally wrong since he was named two-time NCAA Swimmer of the Year, 24-time NCAA All-American, and
7-time NCAA Champion as a Florida Gator.
Athens 2004
After being 7-time NCAA champion Ryan became PRO-swimmer and in 2004 he qualified for his first Olympic games where he won gold in the 4X100 free relay and silver in the 200 IM. So yes this is pretty much the definition of a very successful pro career don’t you think?
Shanghai 2006
At the 2006 FINA
Short Course World Championships in Shanghai Ryan did it again winning another
three medals, gold (4X100 IM relay), silver (200 IM) and bronze (200 Back).
Beijing 2008
The next Olympic games for Ryan were in Beijing where he got 4 medals two gold (200 Back, 4X100 free relay) and two bronze (200 IM, 400 IM).
Rome 2009
After Beijing the next big event was the 2009 World Championships in
Rome and we just can’t picture a better mixed than Ryan and Rome (wich is one of our favorite cities ever) and that is
just so awesome and to make it even better we have to mention that here he
earned more medals and broke records and well he just did an outstanding job as
usual.
Golden Goggles 2009
He was male athlete of the year. Well deserved!!!
Golden Goggles 2010
He was male athlete of the year once again and got the award for male
performance of the year for 200 m IM at Pan Pacific Championships
Shanghai 2011
In shanghai Ryan won a total of six medals 5 golden and 1 bronze and he promised
he will do it even better in London and I guess we can tell he totally did it.
Golden Goggles 2011
Ryan did an outstanding job in Shanghai that’s why he was named male
athlete of the year for third time, and one more time he got an award on male
performance of the year for 200 m IM at World Championships.
London 2012
This time on his third Olympic Games Ryan brought home another 5 medals,
2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. Here there’s no much to say besides the obvious and
is that he did it awesome one more time and very probably you can still remember everithing that happened with details at least we remember it as it would
have been yesterday.
Continuing with 2012, after the games the UF did an special event to
honor the gators who had been part of the Olympic Team and of course Ryan was
one of them.
Since Ryan was in London on his birthday he had to celebrate a little bit
later in his favorite place to party and yes we are talking about Las Vegas. Where
he swam against Prince Harry and had so much fun next to his friends.
How could we forget the 2012 Fashion week in New York where Ryan just blew
our minds looking amazingly gorgeous on every single event he attended to.
And are we the only ones who watched many times that episode of 90210
where Ryan was the guest starring. Please guys tell we're not the only ones becasuse that would be weird.
What about the I Heart radio music festival where Ryan finally meet his
favorite artist Lil Wayne.
Golden Goggle Awards 2012
Istanbul 2012
Definitely 2012 was a busy year for Ryan and swimming didn’t end after
the Olympic Games. We could see him one more time winning medals, breaking
records and looking so hot at the same time in Istanbul. As if this wouldn’t been
enough in Istanbul Ryan decided to give his medals to some lucky boys in the
stands and this is just one of the reasons why we love him. You can’t deny he
is soooo generous and kind to his fans.
Of course after a great year it was not a surprise that he was in the
best of the 2012 show and he was also one of the sexiest men alive according to
people magazine and we don’t know you guys but we think Ryan deserved the very
first place. If we talk about sexiness nobody is sexier than Ryan hahaha just
saying.
Austin Grand Prix 2013
A new year started and the first swimming event for Ryan was Austin
Grand Prix where he had so much fun with swimmers such as Missy Franklin and
Conor Dwyer.
Ryan visited Hollywood to attend to the Hall of Game Awards where btw he
won that’s how I roll award and he made time to pass by speedo office and we
just can’t forget how good he looked. And do you guys remember the Lochte
Combo? Haha yes he got a hot dog name after him.
After Hollywood was time to go to Washington DC.
At the Orlando Grand Prix we could see the cameras after him filming
What Would Ryan Lochte Do?
Also as part of the reality Ryan went to Miami to have his first spring
break next to his friends.
And now it’s time to remember his photo shoot in LA for The Hollywood
Reporter. And this photo shoot let us many glorious pics of Ryan.
Mesa Grand Prix
Santa Clara Grand Prix
Santa Clara was the place where we said good bye to the briefs and say hello too the jammers hahaha.
What Would Ryan Lochte Do?
On April 21st started the most expected really show (at least
for us) on E!
Nationals 2013- Indianapolis
After the What Would Ryan Lochte Do fever it was time to get serious and earn a
spot in the US team for Barcelona 2013. Here Ryan recieved his award as the winner of the Grand Prix series 2012-2013.
Barcelona 2013
Of course Ryan qualified to be part of the US team and he proved why he
is one of the best swimmers in history and no matter what some people thought
he did an amazing job representing his country winning 4 medals, 3 of them of
gold and one silver.
One more time Ryan was not at home for his birthday but after Barcelona
he took the time to celebrate in Las Vegas.
Do you remember when Ryan swam in the Hudson River? Well we do!! and we
still dreaming about Ryan delivering combos for us hahaha just kidding.
He was also invited to the annual charity dinner of Novak Djokovic Foundation.
Moving to Charlotte
There were so many doubts about where Ryan will be training and he
surprised everyone moving to Charlotte to swim with coach Dave Marsh and his
best friend Cullen Jones.
Right after Ryan moved from Gainesville to Charlotte he was in NYC one more time to be part of Swim for relief.
And until now that’s all. Well, taking apart Ryan’s injured knee we
think that’s everything. Unfortunately he wasn’t at Minneapolis Grand Prix and
he won’t swim at Duel in the pool in Glasgow but it seems his knee is so much
better since he is training at the gym and in the pool again so hopefully we will see him fully back pretty soon doing what he does best.
So…that was all for this post. Hope you like it. Don’t forget to follow
us on twitter and like our Facebook page for the best daily updates. Let us know what you think and see
you next time.
