CONOR DWYER'S FAMILY

Hi again! We’re glad to be here another week. Some weeks ago we made a recap of Conor Dwyer’s life so you could know more about him (in case you haven’t read it yet, just click here).

Now that you know a little bit more about Conor, it’s time to know more about his family. As you know Conor is very close to his family, he tries to be with them in important dates through the year. Sometimes it’s not possible because Conor is busy with his training schedule but when he has the chance to travel to Chicago or Florida with his family he does it.
We’re making a little recap of each member of Conor’s immediate family (not doing a recap of the whole family because we will never finish haha).

From left to right: Conor, Spencer, PJ, Jeanne, Brenden, Patrick and Pati

Let’s begin with Conor’s father, Mr. Patrick Dwyer. He works at a financial company. It sounds too serious, but actually he seems like a nice and relaxed father. He likes swimming, in fact he and his wife swim about four times a week in an aquatic center in Evanston, Illinois.
He supports unconditionally Conor and he’s been a key in Conor’s swimming career because he has helped Conor both financially and emotionally. He taught Conor the skills of hard work and they have a very good relationship. He likes to send Conor some joking texts or smack talk to keep him relaxed about swimming and not take it too serious. He’s also been on Conor’s side in the most important events such as the NCAA, the London Olympic Games, Olympic Trials and you might remember Mr. Patrick Dwyer cheering for Conor in the World Trials in Indianapolis last month. So we hope he can travel with the rest of the family to support Conor in Barcelona.

Conor’s mom, Jeanne Dwyer, was an all American swimmer for the Florida State University and as we just wrote, she still swims. She’s been an inspiration for Conor and she helped him to be involved in swimming, she was his first coach when Conor was seven years old but she taught him how to swim since Conor was just a baby. And as a good mother she’s always supported him and his siblings.
It must be so difficult be the mother of five children but clearly Jeanne has done an amazing job. Besides being a great mom, Jeanne is also a very charitable person and likes to help different foundations just as her parents taught her. Actually she and Conor are part of the Misericordia family (a foundation in Chicago).

Spencer Dwyer is Conor’s twin brother, they actually don’t look alike so much but both are so handsome. Spencer didn’t study at the University of Florida like Conor did, he studied at the University of Indiana but Spencer always spent important dates and holidays with his family. Spencer currently lives in Minneapolis but he travels to support his twin brother in some swim meets. He also swims but not in a professional way (you probably have seen some recent pics on Instagram or videos on Vine of Spencer and his siblings swimming in Indianapolis also is worth to mention they are good friends of Allison Schmitt, new Conor’s training partner in Baltimore).
Spencer and Conor have a good brother-relationship you can prove that just taking a look on the tweets they send to each other.  And talking about social media we have to say thanks to Spencer because he sometimes posts great pics of him and Conor.

Patrick Dwyer Jr., aka PJ, is Conor’s younger brother. He graduated from Loyola University. He also has a good brother-relationship with Conor and the rest of the Dwyer family. He’s now the only one who lives in Chicago with his parents and as the rest of the family he has always been there supporting Conor.
PJ also likes swimming and he swims but not in a professional way like Conor.

Let's continue with Brenden Dwyer, he is still a college student at the Saint Louis University who also swims but not in a professional way either. Brenden and Conor have a good brother-relationship that's why we have seen so many pictures of both of them together. And judging by the comments we've seen, lots of girls are in love with him and we totally understand them because he's so handsome (just as the rest of the Dwyer brothers haha).

The only Conor's sister is Pati, she just graduated from high school (Loyola Academy in case you haven’t guessed) and now she just moved to Texas to study at the Texas Christian University. Pati always supports his brother Conor and he recently posted a pic on Instagram which Pati sent him as motivation for the world trials. She's so sweet for always being there cheering for Conor and just as a curious fact, Pati designed those amazing and colorful shirts which all the family wore in London. What an amazing way to support your big brother!!
She always posts great pictures of Conor and the rest of the family on Instagram and we really appreciate it!!

From left to right: Jeanne, Patrick, Pati, PJ, Brenden and Spencer.
All wearing the "Dwyer" shirts designed by Pati

As a special mention we would like to talk about a little bit about Conor's grandparents. Sally and James Dowdle (Jeanne's parents) two amazing and charitable people who had been honored by the Loyola Academy (the one Conor and his siblings attended) for helping that Academy and also some other foundations in Illinois. You could see them in London supporting his Olympian grandson and also in the past world trials cheering for Conor.
They are so sweet!! Conor is so lucky to have amazing grandparents and in general an amazing family.

Well as you could read swimming runs through the Dwyer family veins that's why they understand Conor's absences in some familiar events and they are always by Conor's side supporting him in every decision he takes. They attend swim meets and maybe they are now packing and booking their flight to Barcelona.
Conor and his family are very close and now we all understand why Conor is so handsome (that comes from his family).

That was all for this post. Hope you like it and see you soon!

Ryan Lochte's Hairstyles

Hi everyone!! We are so happy to be here once again. Last week was intense and full of emotions because Ryan Lochte made it to Barcelona 2013 doing an outstanding job at world trials and after being so into swimming the pasts few days, this time we are talking about Ryan Lochte’s hairstyles, yes!!! As you just read this week it’s all about hair.

We all know Ryan always has a very unique style and his hair is a reflection of it, in 28 years of life, Ryan has been through so many hair styles, long, short, straight, curly and more.
We also know Ryan has so many attributes and I wouldn’t blame you if you hadn’t paid much attention to his hair but don’t worry here you’ll find out some of them so just keep reading.

Ok now it’s time to get into this and lets begin with baby Ryan Lochte hahaha, ok we know it, maybe we went too far going back in time but Ryan was such a cute baby with blond and straight hair, have you ever wonder how will Ryan look nowadays with very blond hair haha, we bet he would look awesome, anyway here you have the first hair style and we like to call it, cutie-blond style.

It is so easy to prove that Ryan always has looked great in the pool even as a child and if you don’t believe it just take a look to the next pic, little Ryan with short and wet hair. And we have to say it one more time: this is so cute.

Now let’s move on to Ryan’s teenage years and just as many of us, he went through so many styles, the first one we got is the next one, and let’s face it this is not exactly the most fortunate hair style for him a little too long and messy hahaha, but it doesn’t matter we really think it’s kind of fun and of course it has printed the Lochte style.

Continuing with this, it’s time to see a pic of the very first years of the curly and kind of long hair and this style it’s actually not that bad maybe a little messy but we can handle it.

Now we get from long to very short hair, this was a very radical change but just like always Ryan looked absolutely amazing, here you can see one of the first interviews as a swimmer that’s why he looks so young. We don’t know you, but we never stop to be surprised by Ryan. Definitely he is multifaceted and we think this is one of the very few pics we have seen of Ryan with very short hair.

Right now we’re getting to one of our favorites parts and this is the university boy season. And as a university of Florida student Ryan used his hair in so many ways and here we show you three of them.
In the first one Ryan had curly and a medium length hair and it looks very brown of course everything’s matching his Gator track suit.

The second one is also from the year book of the University of Florida but of course with a very different hair style and his time we really didn’t get it, Ryan had short-long hair and nowadays the “ombre” hair is on trend but it seems Ryan discovered the style a very long time ago, if you don’t believe it just take a look to the next pic.

And now we go back to the curls and brown hair, not so long but enough to all us to see the sexy curls of Ryan hahaha. A curious fact about this pic is that in it we can witness one of Ryan’s hobbies and that’s the unconventional art, yes just like we said in another blog Ryan enjoys drawing “surrealist nature art”.

In 2004 Ryan was still betting on the curly and short hair, that was the chosen style for his first Olympic games and it seems the curls brought him good luck because he won gold and silver at Athens 2004.

And now that we’re talking about Olympic Games, here’s the style Ryan chose for his second Olympic games in Beijing and as you can see the curly hair was with him for a very long time, and Ryan is the prove that the curly hair is as versatile as Ryan is.

For 2009 the hair got a little bit longer and even though we never were big fans of the long hair we think this was the best moment of those curls and Ryan looked so handsome, here you can see some pics of Ryan at an event in the University of Florida and some others from Santa Clara Grand Prix in 2009, now you just have to enjoy it hahaha.

The time went on and on and the hair went longer and longer, in 2010 Ryan’s hair was too long for our personal likes but we have noticed so many fans really love this moment so for those people here you have this hairstyle.

A year later 2011 Ryan cut his hair a little bit but we could still see his very famous curls.

And then 2012 came and Ryan said good bye to the long and curly hair and said hello to the short and stylish hair and yes we got to confess this is our favorite style. As you know Ryan was the image for Ralph Lauren and we really loved the pics of the campaign and everything about it was just so perfect from head to toe Ryan was G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S.

But there’s still more about Ryan’s hair in 2012 and Ryan kept on showing everyone his very nice short hair just like he did in the Red Carpet of the Alma Awards.

2013 has been a very busy year for Ryan and his hair, but we can’t deny we have loved all the hairstyles he has tried so far, I mean we all remember that pic from What Would Ryan Lochte Do? Promotional and considering all the fans commented about it and use it as his own profile pic, we assume you all loved.

So guys this was all for now, Ryan has used a lot of hairstyles that’s why we thought it was important to make a review of some of them, hope you enjoy it. And don’t forget to share with us which one has been your favorite hair style.

See you next time.
