Conor Dwyer's Talents

Hi guys!! After not had been here for a while, we are back with a whole new blog. But before start with this, we have to say that we miss you so much and we are so sorry we couldn't be here as much as we wanted this summer. And now that we are here we hope you like and enjoy this blog as much as we enjoy doing it for you.

This time we are talking about Conor Dwyer's talents and yes you read it right, it's not a secret to anybody that Conor is such an amazing swimmer and one of the most hansome as well, but he has so many other talents that prove how versatile this guy can be, from DJing to surfing going through hockey and video games, down below we listed some of his secret and not so secret talents, so if you want to found out about it, all you have to do is to keep reading. Been said all that, let's get started!!

To begin with this, let's talk about Conor and that DJ thing that seems he really likes, we've told you about this in a previous blog, so you might remember he has taken this farther than you think, and yeah!! He has had many chances to prove his talent as a DJ in some parties being the special DJ guest as he did in Orlando, but this does not end here, he has even DJing next to one of his favorites DJs Cedric Gervais and he even was on stage with him mixing some music, so if that happen we'd like to think he has some experience as a DJ and who knows maybe he is actually a very good mixer and if he doesn't it really doesn't matter because we still want him to be our guest DJ at any party and we are sure we are not the only ones, so one last question for Conor Dwyer!! Would you like to DJ at our birthday party? Haha just kidding.

Second talent include in this list is baseball!!! And this sounds kind of weird to all of us but we promise you this is for real. Conor has been a baseball player since he was just a little kid and this is actually a sport that so many members of the Dwyer family play since they were children and we don't know how good they are but one thing is for sure and that's that they look really cute in that baseball outfits, don't they?

In case you wonder, Conor is the tallest child in the picture

Conor is the second from right to left

And now that we talk about baseball some of you might remember he is a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs and on August 14, 2012 he throw the first pitch before the game between the Chicago Cubs and the Houston Astros, and also on August 25, 2012 Conor throw out the first pitch before a White Sox game (here you can enjoy the video ), so as you can read Conor is pretty much a celebrity in his hometown that's why he's invited to that kind of events. Good for him is all that we can say about it!!

The next one more than being a talent we think is more like a hobby and we are referring to surfing!!

Even though we included in this list just because for some reason we have the feeling he's good at it since the Dwyer family has a beach house in Tampa Florida so we have reasons to think he had time to practice surfing so much... and well... you know what people say: practice makes perfect hahaha.

And if we are making a list about Conor's talents of course we couldn't get out of this SWIMMING!! And well we all have witnessed this one through his swimming career, as an example you have that just a few days ago he won a gold medal in the 4x200 free relay, a silver in the 200 free and another silver for help the team to make it to finals in the 4x100 free relay in Barcelona and we could say so much about this but we are sure you already know it so we don't want you to get bored and that's why we just want to let you enjoy the next pics and... You’re welcome ;-)

Continuing with the list, it’s not a secret (at least to us) that Conor likes playing golf; he started playing it since he was just a little baby, according to him “he has been killin it since 89 in the putt putt golf game”. As you can read, he has been gifted with golf skills and that’s why golf has been part of his life and also of the rest of the Dwyers.

He has practiced this sport all his life and that makes us think he is an amazing golfer. And now, with some tips from Michael Phelps (his new roommate and also great golf player) he should have improved his golf skills.
We’re not the best playing golf, but we would definitely love to play golf with Conor someday haha.

Conor has expressed several times that he’s a fan of hockey; maybe you have seen his tweets of unconditionally support to his favorite ice hockey team, the Chicago Blackhawks, so that gives us an idea of how much Conor likes ice hockey.
Conor grew up playing hockey, actually every Christmas Conor and all his family play ice hockey together, it’s a tradition.

As a curious fact, Conor is a good friend of Patrick Sharp (player of the Chicago Blackhawks) and also of John Moore (player of the New York Rangers). John Moore and Conor grew up playing hockey together, but John was a little better than him haha.

Conor has practiced hockey since childhood (as you just read) so he must be a great hockey player but he had a bad night last April 20th, when he was invited to shoot the puck at the Chicago Blackhawks game. It was a great honor for him being there, so sorry his shoot wasn’t the best, here's the video so you can see his technique wasn't the best. But that doesn’t matter; he still looked flawless wearing his Chicago Blackhawks jersey.

It seems like swimmers love video games; we have witnessed Ricky Berens, Matt McLean, Tyler McGill, Nathan Adrian, Austin Surhoff and of course Conor Dwyer tweeting one another about video games. Those conversations are hilarious, so we’re looking forward to seeing more of them soon.

As you can read, Conor is not the exception and he likes video games, because we could also see a video on Instagram of he and Michael Phelps playing Call of Duty; it seems like they had so much fun that day. We bet lots of girls would pay for being there hanging out with Conor and Michael (good looking guys playing video games it’s priceless).

All of them are experts playing video games and it seems like they are kind of obsessed with that. And Conor is a good example, because when he was invited to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado, Conor and Matt McLean carried their own TVs and video games with them, so they could play after practice every day.
We don’t know you guys, but we can’t stop laughing every time we see this pic, it shows the true love Conor has for video games hahaha.

Maybe we have said this before but Conor has a great talent in photography; just take a look on his Instagram to prove it. He always tries to find the best shot of every picture and his job editing them is amazing. Food, dogs, sunglasses, sneakers, pools, landscapes, family pics and even selfies (great selfies btw) are the pictures Conor has posted on Instagram. All of them are simply beautiful, especially his shirtless pictures haha.

He has the ability to turn something very simple in to something really beautiful.

We’ll tell you a little secret, Conor’s Instagram account is one of our favorites because he always surprises us with every picture he posts, even though he sometimes deletes them haha.

The reason why we love Conor's Instagram haha

As you could read Conor has been gifted with so many talents but our favorite one will always be swimming (you know, tiny speedos haha! Just kidding). He has improved his swimming a lot so we’re sure we will be able to see Conor swimming for a long time…

Well, that is all for today, hope you like it and thank you so much for reading.

See you next time!
