MESA GRAND PRIX

 PRELIMINARIES DAY 1

Hi guys, the Mesa Arizona Grand Prix has started and we are so excited because just like in the past meets Conor Dwyer and Ryan Lochte are competing. This Grand Prix is full of Olympians such as Ricky Berens, Nathan Adrian, Anthony Ervin, Matt Grevers, Tyler Clary, Missy Franklin, Dana Vollmer, Jessica Hardy and big come back Natalie Coughlin.

And of course our favorite swimmers ever Conor Dwyer and Ryan Lochte. We don’t even need to say we are so excited to see them competing at Mesa.

Lets begin with the first event of the morning, Women 100 LC Meter Freestyle where Natalie Coughlin proved why she is one of the best female swimmers in the USA. After being out of the pool since London 2012 she is being part of this meet qualifying as first with a time of 54.44 followed by Katinka Hosszu (54.80), the third place was taken by our dear Missy Franklin (55.04). Dana Vollmer was competing in this event too qualifying as fourth with a time of 55.67. Another Olympian Jessica Hardy is also at finals tonight with a time of 55.95. All of them we will be competing tonight.

The second event of the morning was Men 100 LC Meter Freestyle, this one was one of the most expected events of the entire meet, because it was full of Olympic stars. On the A final we will see Nathan Adrian qualified as first (49.68) followed by Ricky Berens (50.09), in fifht place the just married Matt Grevers (50.83) and in seventh place Anthony Ervin (50.97).

On B final we will see our favorite two Olympians who made a great job at the pool this morning even when the 100 meter Freestyle is not their strength. Conor Dwyer quialifies tenth with a time of 52.25 and Ryan Lochte was 13th with a time of 51.32. But no matter what  they are always going to be our favorite ones and we will be supporting them tonight  (We loved their speedos and they too!).

The sixth event of the morning was Men 400 LC Meter Freestyle and we could see the lovely Conor Dwyer who did a great job showing why he is a great swimmer qualifying as A finalist on fifth plave with a time of 4:00.47. We are so excited and can't wait to see him race tonight. Great job Conor!

After we could see Conor taking the pool the next event was Women 100 LC Meter Butterfly and Dana Vollmer competed there finidhing as third with a time of 59.27.

On the eight event Ryan Lochte sawm the Men 100 LC Meter Butterfly finished as 9th witha time of 54.91. he will b on B finals but we still love him and supporting him as always.

Btw maybe he is not on A finals but he definitely was the best dressed of this morning meet, he knows how to bright wearing a tiny speedo.

This is all for now and we should say it was an interesting morning. We definitely can’t 

wait to see finals tonight and of course we will be cheering on Conor and Ryan. So don’t mis finals set for tonight at 7 CT at Skyline Aquatics Center.
