Mesa Grand Prix
Preliminaries Day 2
Morning session at Mesa Grand Prix has over and
here we have the best of our favorite swimmers Conor Dwyer, Ryan Lochte and
more. This morning was full of great races where we could see Conor and Ryan
giving their best as usual, we don’t even need to say every time they get into
the pool we get extremely excited.
Lets talk about the girls in Women 200 LC Meter
Freestyle and in this event everything was about Missy Franklin and Katy Ledecky,
it was a tough battle between this two young swimmners but
in the end Ledecky leaded the competition with a time of 1:59.03, our dear
Missy Franklin got the second place with a time of 1:59.20, the third place was
for Chelsea Chenault (1:59.81). of course we will see them tonight at finals.
After a long wait of about 1 hour and a half, we
finally could see our favorite swimmers taking the pool on Men 200 LC Meter
Freestyle. And they gave their best as always.
The first one was our dear Conor Dwyer who made
a great job and qualified as ninth with a time of 1:52.11 but don’t worry we
will see him on B finals tonight.
After that, on heat 7 we could see Ryan Lochte winning his heat and qualifying as fifth with a time of 1:50.99 and of course we will see him on A finals tonight. We really can’t wait to see their amazing job and find out which speedo they will wear.
In Women 200 LC Meter Backstroke Missy did it again ending as first with a time of 2:11.75, second place was for Clara Smiddy (2:14.14) and third was for Elizabeth Pelton (2:14.43). Great Job Missy can’t wait to see you at finals!!

After that, on heat 7 we could see Ryan Lochte winning his heat and qualifying as fifth with a time of 1:50.99 and of course we will see him on A finals tonight. We really can’t wait to see their amazing job and find out which speedo they will wear.

In Women 200 LC Meter Backstroke Missy did it again ending as first with a time of 2:11.75, second place was for Clara Smiddy (2:14.14) and third was for Elizabeth Pelton (2:14.43). Great Job Missy can’t wait to see you at finals!!
The next event of the morning was Men 200 LC Meter Backstroke where we saw our dear Ryan Lochte taking the pool again and qualifying as third to A Finals tonight with a time of 2:03.25. We are so proud of him because he is doing an amazing job today.

One of the fastest races in swimming Women 50 LC Meter Freestyle was full of great swimmers but in the ended Natalie Coughlin leaded the competition with a time of 25.42, Christine Magnuson took the second place with a time of 25:48 and Jessica Hardy ended as third with a time of 25:62.
The last event of the morning was Men 50 LC Meter Freestyle where we could see three close friends competing; we are talking about Anthony Ervin, Matt Grevers and Nathan Adrian, Ervin qualified as first (22.34), followed by Adrian (22.61) and Grevers
qualified as sixth with a time of 23.25. And of course we will see all of them
on finals tonight.
Nothing better to spend a Friday morning than
seeing our beloved Conor Dwyer and Ryan Lochte doing what they do the best,
swim. So if you want to spend your Friday night seeing these two and other
swimmers competing, don’t miss Mesa Grand Prix finals tonight set for tonight
at 7 CT at Skyline Aquatics Center.
