Orlando Grand Prix Preliminaries Day 3

Hey guys last day of preliminaries at Orlando Grand Prix has come and even though we are kind of sad cause there’s no more competition days left for now, here we are to tell you everything about the morning session, and just like the past two days our guys Ryan Lochte and Conor Dwyer gave us amazing races and we have the best of them and more.

The second event of the morning was Men 200 LC Meter IM and it was so exciting because our favorite swimmers were racing and giving their best as always, Conor Dwyer ended third on his heat with a time of 2:06:07 and qualified third to finals tonight.

Meanwhile Ryan Lochte dominated his heat winning it and qualifying sixth to finals tonight. We are so proud of them and of course we can't wait to see them race.

The third event of the morning session were Women 200 LC Meter Backstroke and Missy Franklin took the pool swimming on the last heat and of course she was the top qualifier with a time of 2:10.92  so we will see her at finals tonight. Good job Missy!!!

The morning kept giving us exciting moments and Men 200 LC Meter Backstroke wasn't the exception, we were so nervous seeing Ryan Lochte race stroke for stroke with Ryan Murphy, that was such a cardiac race and we are so glad to see our dear Ryan Lochte on finals tonight, he qualified second on his heat and with a time of 2:02.84.

Meanwhile in Women 100 LC Meter Free style we could see two great Olympians and of course I am talking about Dana Vollmer and Missy Franklin, Dana swam on heat 9 lane 4 finishing as first on her heat, headed to finals as 2nd with a time of 56.07.

On the other side Missy swam on the last heat of the competition and this time she finished on 1st place of her heat and she did it again because she was the top qualifier of the competition headed to finals as 1st with a time of 55.57. Both will be at finals and we can’t wait to see them race against each other.

And to finish this exciting morning, nothing better than to see Conor Dwyer on the Men 100 LC Meter Freestyle competing and proving us why he is our favorite swimmer, he qualified eighth to finals tonight with a time of 51.80 and he will be racing against Anthony Ervin who qualified first (50.39), and we are so excited to see how this race ends.

Another amazing morning came to the end and sadly the last prelims of the Orlando Grand Prix, but don't worry we will able to see finals tonight so don't miss Orlando Grand Prix finals set for tonight at 6ET at YMCA Aquatic Center. It will be an outstanding ending.
