Orlando Grand Prix Preliminary Results
Day 1

Valentine’s Day has arrived, but also the Orlando Grand Prix and there’s no better way to spend this day than watching our favorite swimmers racing.

The first event of the morning was Women 200 LC Meter Freestyle and the lovely Missy Franklin leaded the competition with a time of 2:00.51 of course we’ll see her at finals tonight.

The second event of this morning was Men 200 LC Meter Freestyle and we’re so excited about this one because our dears Conor Dwyer and Ryan Lochte were at the competition giving their best as usual and we couldn’t be more proud of these guys because Conor headed to finals on second place with a time of 1:50.66 and of course the always handsome Ryan Lochte will be at finals too; he qualified as fourth with a time of 1:51.57. Congratulations guys, we can’t wait to see you tonight!!

On event five Women 100 LC Meter Butterfly and as everybody, we were waiting Dana Vollmer’s return, she hadn’t taken the pool since London 2012 and what a big way to return because she leaded the competition with a time of 59:01 but it wasn’t easy because Missy Franklin attended to this event and we all know she is a great swimmer and she proved it qualifying as sixth with a time of 1:02.05 and of course we are so excited to see them racing against each other at finals.

On event 6 Men 100 LC Meter Butterfly Ryan Lochte dominated the pool for second time this morning, headed to finals on first place with a time of 54:54 there’s no doubt he’s one of the best swimmers of history and we never get tired to see him taking the pool on every competition.

One of the last events was Men 400LC Meter IM and our dear Conor Dwyer qualified as fourth with a time of 4:34.26 and we’ll see him at finals tonight, we don’t even need to say he did an amazing job racing against great swimmers such as Tyler Clary who qualified on first place (4:31.42).

It was definitely an amazing morning full of great races with our favorite swimmers wearing their famous tiny speedos. No doubt tonight will be even more amazing, so stay tuned and BTW Happy Valentine’s Day Everybody!!!
